On October 8, 2019, SSARD completed its change in equity, and became wholly owned by Yangnong Chemical (previously wholly owned by Sinochem International). In accordance with the Interim Measures for Management of Building State Key Laboratories Relying on Enterprises issued by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, SSARD carried out open recruitment for the director of "State Key Laboratory of the Discovery and Development of Novel Pesticide" (with Mr. Zhu Jianjun from Sinochem International as the former director). Ms. Zhou Jingmei was appointed as the director, and the appointment was reported by SASAC to the Ministry of Science and Technology for filing on December 24, 2019. It is believed that under the leadership of director Zhou Jingmei, the "State Key Laboratory of the Discovery and Development of Novel Pesticide" will produce and transform more innovative achievements, and make new greater contributions to our enterprise and even the entire pesticide industry in China.
