On April 24, 2018, Sinochem International Crop Care Company Limited held the Sinochem Seed Coating Tengshou Launch Meeting in Luohe City, Henan Province.

“Tengshou” is an innovative seed coating jointly launched by Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry and Sinochem International Crop Care Company Limited, and a product independently researched and developed by Sinochem with three patents (patented compound, ternary compound patent, patented film forming agent). Over nearly 8 years of R&D, through much formula combination and screening, after field demonstration in multiple fields for years, its mysterious veil has finally been uncovered to you recently. “Tengshou” is the sole ternary compound seed coating containing Sinochem component fenaminstrobin and with highest thiamethoxam content in Chinese markets.

Wang Fengle, the Section Chief of Medical Instrument Section, National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, Han Shiping, the Assistant Station Master of Henan Plant Protection Station, Song Jingkui, Head of Louhe Plant Protection Station, Jiang Tao, the General Manager Assistant of China National Seed Group Co., Ltd., Liu Jiang, the General Manager of Wheat Business Division, China National Seed Group Co., Ltd., Chou Jingyu, the Director of Preparation R&D Department, Shenyang Sinochem Agrochemicals R&D Co., Ltd., Wang Quan, the General Manager of Chinese Business Division, Sinochem International Crop Care Company Limited and other relevant leaders and colleagues, together with over 150 excellent agricultural material dealers and guests of seed companies from main Chinese wheat production areas, attended this meeting, to witness the grand launching of Sinochem seed coating “Tengshou”.

After the launching ceremony, all participants wen to the planting observation field to witness the outstanding effects of “Tengshou” of preventing wheat aphids, banded sclerotial blight and adjusting growth. Through indoor explanation and outdoor observation, the participants spoken favorably about “Tengshou”, and were full of confidence and expectation to the Chinese products.

While the seed coating emerges in recent years, the seed safety risk problem attaches more and more attention. In 2005, accidents on generating hazards upon dressing wheat and soybean in large area occured in Hulun Buir and Baiquan County of Heilongjiang Province, seriously inhibiting sprouting and seedling growth, and resulting in severe losses of total crop failure in the whole year.

For “Tengshou”, as the milestone product of Sinochem seed coating development, “safety” is one of key words of “Tengshou”. At the launch meeting, Doctor Chou Jingyu explained through various indoor indicators, and ensured the unique safety of Tengshou; meanwhile, Liu Ruijiang, the Deputy General Manager of the Seed Coating Department, Sinochem International Crop Care Company Limited exhibited the sprouting condition of “Tengshou” under different dosages. The seed safety of “Tengshou” was fully approved by combining theory with practice.

Green and safe agricultural production is prerequisite for development of agrochemical business. Only giving peasants “reassurance” can provide a long development prospect.
